Actually, I've been careful to make sure the patterns I choose are very simple, and I deliberately chose cottons for the most part as they're easier to work with (the stripes will take care, but I can be careful when needed :-). There are a couple difficult fabrics, but hopefully I'll have enough experience by the time I get around working with them.

I plan on making (http://www.taunton.com/Threads/pages/t00002_p2.asp) a dummy, actually, as I don't have any knowledgable friends around here. I meant to make the dummy this last weekend, but I guess it'll have to be this weekend instead. Maybe even Friday...sometime when Geoff is around, anyway.
