The "Bee" refers to the Spelling Bee. It's just one of those uplifting, beautiful films without a nasty undertone, but still managing not to be cloying. Plus, Lawrence Fishbourne does a wonderful version of Snape. Okay, not Snape, but the attitude is close. ;-)
