Does anyone speak Romanian?

Enough to translate, that is...

I want to know what this stuff is. If anyone could help me out, I would greatly appreciate it (a drabble or sketch would be in it for you...). :-)

Well, I didn't get the "clay" in (yet), but I've got a ways to go... The drabble kind of ran away and insisted it be something more. Speaking of which, how's your sense of the absurd? I haven't decided which way I'm going to take it, but I really do have the urge to make it a comedy... If you prefer it not be, speak up now! :-)
