Latin, anyone?

What would the Latin for "down" be? 'Down' as the direction, that is.

Well, I'm not going to get anything really close to what I want to translate, as it's slang, but I came up with something suitable, anyway.

A former Latin teacher of mine went to a conference by a man who dedicates his life to translating modern-ities into speakable Latin. *boggles*
