My father recently bought a new house. Upon doing some work to it (redoing the kitchen oddly enough) my parents discovered that the wiring is FOR SH**. All the wires are hard wired directly in the same source from the city. *facepalm* They are also all raw wires no safety stuff at all. Amazing the place hasn't burned down yet.
