I remember reading of this when he first did it. I don't know if I would have rushed by (hope not) but I KNOW that my son (who is blind, but who has been so gifted with both love of and ability to produce beautiful music) would not have LET me rush by without stopping to soak up some of that beauty.

Which makes me think--maybe that's another of the reasons God had in mind with my son--He gave him to me to make me slow down, and hear and see the beauty in the earth.
