Guh... and other stuff
Jul. 13th, 2006 10:27 pmGot my man fix. *contented sigh* I enjoyed it immensely.
Oh, and the date with DH was nice, too. ;-)
I enjoyed the movie, though it had almost as annoying an end as HBP did. But it was worth it if only for the guffaws the teaser for "Transformers" brought about. I love DH's laugh. It has a quality of such enjoyment that it's nearly infectious. Much better than my annoying giggles (though I think I was laughing so hard I was silent at that point).
I've also had a rather productive writing day! Yay! If I were cruel, I could say that chapter 12 is finished, but I think everyone would like me better if I added a bit more to it. Right now it has no Severus whatsoever, and quite a lot of Hermione and Nott interaction. I'll post a teaser sometime later (and if I forget, just nudge me).
Another project I've started is coming along rather nicely, although it's had the unfortunate digression of a plot of sorts. I really was trying for a PWP, but oh well. Right now it's kind of stalled because it was getting altogether too melodramatic, but I will fix it. And then I will get them into bed. Or whatever surface they choose to use. Hopefully I'll be able to manage that in under 10,000 words.
Damn plot.
And then there are ideas floating around in my head. One of them might actually be original fiction. A fairytale of sorts. Right now I only have the briefest glimpse of the main character though, and I have no idea how she ended up where she is.
Another idea is from the hp_fairytales or whatever it's called. I'm seriously thinking about taking up Rumpelstiltskin, though Goldie Locks could be fun as well. I just have this urge to write Voldemort into a comedy, and Rumpelstiltskin would be perfect, I believe. *shrug* We'll see.
Oh, and that reminds me that chapter 11 of SMHC is actually up at Ashwinder! Yay!
And I've also managed to get some stuff done around the house, too! Soon I will get the living room/dining room all cleaned up nice and purdy and take photos to share, which will include my coffee table. (I finished it yesterday! Woot!) I still haven't decided on what to display under the glass, but I'm sure I'll think of something better than what's there right now.
Anything else? Oh, yeah. I'm really looking forward to IPS being over and done with so that I can get my husband back to somewhat normal hours. I hate going to bed before he does. (Yes, I'm spoiled.)
