*big sigh*
Geoff's off to Brazil again in a couple of weeks. And it's going to be a longer trip this time. Not sure how long, seeing as the length depends on whether some people in Rio are available on a weekend, but it'll be more than a week this time. :-(
*another sigh*
Page hit a kid at school yesterday. Or at least took a swing at a kid with his (soft) lunchbox and dinged him on the elbow. It was during snack-time, which makes me even more determined to ask the doctor for an A1C come Monday. His sensitivity to any and all sugar has spiked recently, and his mood has been going along for the ride.
If it isn't diet/blood-sugar related, then we have to seriously consider drugs. Probably anti-depressants, given his penchant for (always) feeling victimized and persecuted. *double sigh here*
*and sighs yet again*
I gave in and had a cup of decaf tea this afternoon. I just couldn't get moving, and a nap wasn't possible. And now my throat hurts. Damn it. Why do you hate tea, oh Body'o'Mine? Why?
*exasperated sigh*
The mega-expensive sourdough loaf I made yesterday is severely under-salted. Even after more than doubling the salt content, because I knew the recipe didn't call for nearly enough.
I will probably try the recipe again one of these days, although I will attempt to adjust it so it won't be so incredibly expensive next time. Just quite expensive. (The recipe calls for 20 oz of cashews!)
*exaggerated sigh*
And, worst of all, despite having done the dishes once today, I already have to do them again.
Life is so unfair.
