(no subject)

To do tomorrow:

Paint underside of lighting ledge
touch-up wherever it's needed
don't murder neighbor children. Um, that's for tonight.
start bloody hp_art_project painting
perhaps paint colored walls... pending color sample approval (it's looking good so far) and time/energy

I have no idea whether the rest of the kitchen will be installed tomorrow or Saturday. I don't even know which to hope for.

I am so tired. I want this to be over and done with. I also really want to show off, though I'm still a fair ways away from the final product yet.

Still, M&M are due to come up the weekend before Halloween, and I hope to have everything in the kitchen done by then. I doubt this entire project will be done by then, but I can at least hope for that as well. And work, work away.

In random thoughts, I've decided I really don't like Billy Piper's acting. Perhaps it's not so much her acting as the storycrap that surrounds her acting, but... Yeah. Not impressed.

I am absolutely amazed at how much you're doing so quickly! It's such a good feeling to accomplish something, isn't it?

I've been standing up straighter and smiling more, and just generally feeling better about myself because of it. It's marvelous.

However, it doesn't feel quick to me. It feels like a snail's pace. Five weeks of living in chaos is four and a half too many. ;-)

I am impressed by anybody who can paint and redo a kitchen. :=)

so what inspired the Billie Piper comment? I haven't yet seen her in Mansfield Park, but in Doctor Who, I have trouble understanding her accent. I don't know if she can do other accents or not.

The painting part isn't so bad, though it is a heck of a lot of hard work. Ceilings are the worst, though.

I was just thinking of her performance in a recent Masterpiece (or was it Mystery?) thing... Shadows from the North? That might have been the sequel's name. Anyway, it was an interesting story (except for the very end, which was just over the top), Her performance as Sally Lockheart was... uninspired. Perhaps betterthan her role as Fanny in Mansfield Park, but still... yeah. Period pieces might not be the best thing for her at this point.

And no, she can't do other accents.
