You know that scene in Emma Thompson's Sense and Sensibility where Eleanor and Edward are plodding along on horseback and she looks like she has a very strange hairstyle because the wind is picking up her fringe and molding it to her hat?

That's what my bangs look like right now. Without wind as an excuse.

Maybe your hair misses the 1980s? Mine misses the 1970s and insists on doing that Farrah Fawcett upswept bang thing.

Maybe, but it never experienced the eighties. It was around and on me then, but I ruthlessly kept it from those styles, except for one traumatic visit to the stylist when I was twelve. But neither my hair nor I ever mentions that day.

I hope it hasn't decided to rebel. *sigh* Suppression never gets one anywhere, does it?
