You know that scene in Emma Thompson's Sense and Sensibility where Eleanor and Edward are plodding along on horseback and she looks like she has a very strange hairstyle because the wind is picking up her fringe and molding it to her hat?

That's what my bangs look like right now. Without wind as an excuse.

Oh, the days I go to bed with damp hair are GREAT! I usually end up with ringlets. On one side of my head. The other side will just be crooked.

This just seems to be a perennial state for my bangs. If I wash them every day, they can be managed, but... *shakes head* At least it's good for a laugh, right?

Maybe, but it never experienced the eighties. It was around and on me then, but I ruthlessly kept it from those styles, except for one traumatic visit to the stylist when I was twelve. But neither my hair nor I ever mentions that day.

I hope it hasn't decided to rebel. *sigh* Suppression never gets one anywhere, does it?
