Prompts wanted

Heya, oh wonderful flist, I was wondering if you could help me out.

I signed up to show my art at the Church in December. I think it's December, anyway. Maybe it's November. Whichever month it is, I currently do not have enough new art to show, even counting in some photographs I could print out. Sooooo...

I need to do some drawings, but I can't think of anything to draw (painting is another thing all together and needs no prompting at this point).

So, would you please prompt me? Doesn't need to be rational or feasible, though nothing in fandom, please. This is potentially for my portfolio.

I promise to show you what I do with the prompts.

Thanks in advance!

Three stages of a life lived in love: two toddlers sharing a sweet moment, i.e. making mud pies, playing house, parenting a pet or a stuffed animal, exchanging a toy or a flower; teenaged sweethearts by a tree into which they have carved their initials; elderly couple on front porch holding hands--all with something to make totally clear that they're all the same people. :)

You've already got enough photographs for a show.I would pick through those and put something together.

As an additional step, you could collaborate with someone(s) in your church to match the images with inspirational texts: poetry, holy writ, etc. Display the texts next to the pictures on the cards. Then you have the option of selling prints. Or correspondence cards with the images and texts printed on one side with the reverse blank for the message. I'm envisioning something slightly larger than a postcard, but one-sided, non-folding, with envelope. (I suspect printing might be cheaper this way. But you would have to investigate and find out.)

Just a thought.

-the human skeleton
-historical suits of armor
-a dilapidated house/castle
-a still life of your living space/your room/a room in your house, the way it looks day-to-day
-a self-portrait from life/people from life

Oh ahaha, now that I think about it, these are actually what I've been drawing for my own portfolio. I didn't realize I was giving you my own prompts... but maybe what sounds interesting to me might be interesting to you, too.

What are you using to draw with/on?

Some details from a monument, and since I like Gothic churches, why not a gargoyle, or a pinnacle?

Fish!

BTW, had I mentioned how much I love the autumn leaf painting you sent me long and long ago? It sits next to the telephone in our house, so I look at it every day. =)
