Oof

Helped my club out with the annual "Sunshine Breakfast" for the faculty and staff at the college. Meant getting up really early. Meant eating and running (without tea). Meant lots of standing and scrubbing. And, thanks to a former cook who told us all what to do and took over the stove, it was a smashing success.

But now I'm tired.

However, it's done, it was fun, and I found out that one of my accounting classmates (who's graduating on Saturday) was in PTK. I had wondered.

Last night I started making plans about how I'm going to accomplish all I need to do over the next couple of weeks. I haven't ruled out organizing a dirt-moving party for Memorial Day weekend, though I expect attendance would be rather low... However, I do believe, if my back holds up, I can make sure all my plants are safe and sound, if not my dirt. *iz sad about the dirt*

Today's task is to start adjusting (desodding) the front garden line so that I have room for the plants I need to move. And plant.

And then study more algebra. Which is how I spent Mother's Day. It was fun, actually. Page went and played with a friend, Geoff went to the laundromat with our big quilts and I stayed home and played math games all day. I think we all pretty much enjoyed ourselves. Well, maybe not Geoff, but he had his phone with his connection to the Denver Broncos' news...

But now I should go. To nap or desod, I'm not sure yet. Probably nap. I really am tired.

Hoping you all had a good weekend, and may the week be even better.

Cheers!
