To do TODAY (not toady)

It's cool (mid - high 70's) and dry...ish (mid 60's). That means doing the outside chores is almost bearable.

So:

Clear out lettuce bed for fall batch. (Don't plant quite so much this time! half lettuce, half mustard?)
pull up dead peas (*sniffs*)
harvest kale
prepare kale and chard
(and roast half the kale?)
harvest chard that isn't bolting
sand and prime linen closet door (yeah, not done yet)
weed triangle
weed driveway area

tend front garden
fertilize?
water?
pay bills

Watched the last of season one of Heroes last night. Gotta say, it was pretty damn awesome. Also gotta say, after having looked at Heroes wiki, I'm not even remotely interested in watching what comes next. Sounds like it devolves into the worst of comic book soap operaishness rather than being as crisp and concise as the first season was.

And tonight Geoff and I have third season Dr. Who to watch. Yay! Perhaps soon I will be caught up enough to read some of [livejournal.com profile] humantales' stories! (Not going to watch Torchwood, though. I don't care for that genre subset.)

But, now I have to go get Babe in the shower, myself out into the garden and leave this computer to itself.

I did not like heroes. I was especially annoyed that "world" = "NYC."

Oh, I sniggered every time that was said, although looking at it in a broader context, it wasn't NYC they needed to save, but the entire world from the aftermath, ala 9/11.
