Drawble for duniazade SS/HG and Tree

I think I cheated because I'm pretty sure this took longer than half an hour to make. But, it didn't take longer than 1.5 hours including dinner prep, eating (x2), Babe wrangling and all that fun, non-drawing stuff.

Oooh, thank you, that's wonderful - not at all what I had in mind, but all the better for being a surprise! I love the reversal of the usual roles, with Hermione hiding/spying, and Severus out in the open and seemingly unconcerned.

Hermione's posture is so intriguing, halfway between hiding and hugging; I think she's the dryad of that tree, and she seems at the same time fragile and wild. I also love her longish nose!

Is that a twig in Severus' hands, and if yes, did he break it from the tree? He looks so carefree that I can't take it at face value - there's certainly a Slytherin plot afoot.

It's deliciously subtle and ambiguous and it tickles me just right - thank you again! And please forgive me for the belated response, I have a patchy Internet at the moment.
