Nicked from firefly_124. The next five people to comment in this post get to request a drawble of any pairing/character of their choosing that I am familiar with from me. In return, they have to post this in their journal, regardless of their ability level.

I haven't been drawing much, so I'm rather out of practice. But the last set of prompts I asked for were fun to do. And maybe this will get me back into the swing of things so that I might finish up some lingering projects. *looks guiltily away from Shug and anyone else I've forgotten (remember, my memory is TERRIBLE! Think Neville level)*

Anyway, HP, LM Montgomery, Austenverse, LoTR, etc. ... Just no tv/movie prompts, please. Not even for Star Trek.

"Sir, what was my father like?"

Even though he had been expecting the question for some time, it still caught him off guard.

He was a werewolf. A beast. His friends were animals. His weak willed 'oversights' made his prefect status a running joke, and the only reason he wasn't publicly mocked was because of Potter and Black. No one wanted to suffer my fate.

"Mr. Lupin," he snapped, "what do you know of Marianna Farsight? Or Marcus Blightly? They are in your year, are they not?"

The boy frowned, confused.

"I didn't know your father. Go ask someone else."

When the augurey first started roosting in their garden, Hermione was a bit taken aback. She tried to argue for its removal, but her husband wouldn't hear of it.

"I don't think it's a good idea."

"You know as well as I that they're harmless."

"I know they're harmless, but--"

"I like them."

There was no counter argument to that. He liked so few things.

It didn't take her long to understand why he liked the awkward bird. Although the daily haunting cry made her want to weep, she noticed Severus grew more peaceful, as if someone finally understood him.

I will write a drabble (100 words exactly) for the first ten commenters to request one. In return, they have to post this in their journal. You may request the character and/or the pair, but I'm limiting it to the Harry Potter or Lost fandoms. Please provide a short prompt.

Okay, this drabble is going in a direction I am not at all comfortable with, but I think that it is what is called for. I would call the Muse names, but I don't want her going away. Also, I'd prefer to write these demons out rather than make myself sick internalizing them.

Oh, and although I might be uncomfortable with the direction of this story, I don't think there will be any warnings added to it at any point. Except that it's AU. :-)

Right. I've finally joined the grangersnape community, and, because my muse has been lazy, I'm forcing myself to write something for the current challenge. However, I'm not posting it there yet. I'm not sure I can, at this point, as Snape isn't yet in the picture.

I planned this as a serial drabble of 12, but I'm wondering if these 12 will be the prologue to something longer. I'm not sure.

Anyway, here's the first four. Unbetaed.
