It's snowing. On the plus side, it's still too warm for it to stick (which also leads to huge, enormous flakes, some as big as an inch across), but it's still just plain icky.
The computer died. There was a power surge last night which shut it off, and when I tried to turn it on today after church, it was completely unresponsive. Hopefully Geoff will be able to get it working again (it's a crap-shoot with this computer. There is no rhyme or reason to it starting). So, while Geoff is still here, I can use his (somewhat reliable) laptop (with PS! Yay!), but he's due to go back to Buffalo next week because, yeah, his job sucks.
And then I will be without a computer. As it is, I am without my story.
On the plus side, as I was looking for stuff I could take to my writer's group meeting, I came across a few HP stories I really am quite pleased with, all of which have not been posted at Owl. Most (if not all) will need betaing, but they are all ready to go. Besides Hermione Granger and the Half-Blood Prince, because I still need to do the illustrations for that before I can post it.
Anyway, that's the state of affairs here. It isn't nearly as bad as it could be (or I thought it was last night). Hope all is well with you, and if it isn't, that you receive my good wishes without delay.
