That was fast.
I have my new passport. Already. It's only been... two weeks?
Yay, anyway. Now I can go gallavanting. Not that I'm going to, but at least now I could.
Oh, I am so looking forward to seeing my parents new place! And I think I may even be able to coax Geoff to come for three weeks instead of just two. (I mentioned that their new place has three bedrooms, meaning that Babe will have his own bedroom. I think that did help.) Three weeks would mean a short, Babe-free getaway for us. Two weeks wouldn't really allow that (not and be fair to Babe).
And my mum finished my quilt top, so I will be getting that at Christmas. :D
I don't know whether she has finished the quilting yet, although she had the motivation to get it done before they start showing their place this weekend. Am tempted to give the url for the listing, but I think not. The photography shows their place off very, very nicely, but it doesn't show my art well at all. :P
Besides, I doubt any of you are in the market for an upscale apartment in Vancouver. (I may hanging on to middle class by my fingernails, and my parents may not be true upper crust, but their place radiates wealth nonetheless. It's very nice.)
And Geoff has just taken Babe to the neighbors' daughters birthday party across town. :D Leaving me here. :D Alone. :D :D :D
Though I'm very glad he's home again.
Our phone is still dead, though. Must call repair men. *snorts ironically* Well, now that Geoff's home, at least we can call with his cell. Perhaps someday I will give up my Ludite tendencies, but I've made it this far without that chain...
Anyway, I'm happy. A little on the hungry side, but happy. So, I shall scrounge something up, and then write and write and write, and hopefully, by the end of the day, I will have another chapter well underway.
