averygoodun42I'm not sure if it's exhaustion, or allergies or what, but driving home today (in the daylight), the last stretch of highway before home looked foreign to me, as if I'd only been on it once before, if that. It was very disconcerting, even if it is rather revealing about how I feel about this area.
Had a good time. I'll post a pic later tonight, after I've bathed Babe and myself and Babe is asleep. Am very tired, though. And allergic. (M&M have a cat. Thank goodness for benadryl and water.)
Had a really crappy tarot reading. It was really funny, in a way, how bad it was. (It started off (while I was shuffling the deck) with the reader saying, "Hold on a sec; let me just put on my pants." And then she proceeded to pull on a pair of green underpants. Right there. As if that isn't, um... gauche enough, we were in an open gazebo in the middle of a busy faire! I couldn't look at M for fear that we wouldn't be able to control ourselves.)
Perhaps I should have made my wedding band more visible after the reader asked how old I was (after she'd laid the cards out), because it was all about how I'm attracted to a two-faced liar. But there was hope, because in four or five months I would meet the real deal. Soooo, unless Geoff is a lot more disingenuous than I think he is, I think the reading was pretty much crap. I think tonight I'll see if my cards are willing to be read by me. Though perhaps I should reread the book and reacquaint myself with the meanings and such. I can't even remember what suits counterindicate the other ones.
But, due to the crappy reading I came to a couple... sad realizations that I hope won't be sad after they're worked on. I really hope they won't continue being sad, as that would be rather devastating in the end. But it looks like the next six months are going to be rather strenuous either way.
The only other thing of note is that it's been cool enough out to wear my leather jacket. I forgot how stylish and... me this jacket makes me feel. Most of my best clothes are for the winter, so perhaps it will be easier to find myself and sense of style as Fall progresses.
