The gritty aspect of Unforgiven is what I really like about it.
So what did you hate about Amelie? (With Punch Drunk Love there's lots to hate; I just happened to like it.)
I guess Dr. Suess was introduced at the perfect time for me. Probably when I was about three, if going by Babe's reaction is any indication. I'm thinking Babe's linguistic skills are about on par with what mine were at that age. From what I gather, anyway.
Of course, I liked some books way better than others, and I'm finding that my favorites weren't Dr. Suess at all. Like Robert Smells a Rose, and Are You My Mother? Although Bartholomew Cubbins was another favorite, and that is the Dr.'s
