I may be a Domestic Goddess...
Sep. 12th, 2006 04:57 pm...but I sure am tired.
I spent all day yesterday cleaning. I didn't finish, but I did make a good dent. At least last night, when I went to bed, I wasn't sneezing up a storm. Although, come to think of it, the benadryl probably helped with that.
Besides taking all day to clean a few measly square feet, I also had the joy of Babe's refusal to sleep. He's been refusing naps more and more frequently lately. I'm afraid he's getting to that horrible stage where he won't want a nap anymore, even if he desperately needs one. Bah!
Football season has also started. No offense intended,
darth_kittius, but I don't like football season (though admittedly for purely selfish reasons). With football season comes articles about teams and players and general surmising of the coach's strategy. DH's team is not our local team, so all articles must be read online.
DH reading online means he whines if he doesn't get to get online.
DH whining is not a pretty sight. I prefer to avoid it whenever possible.
That, combined with Babe's new napping refusal, means that my writing time has been cut down to about 2 hours a week, unless I want to encourage my insomnia and use the hours after DH goes to bed (around midnight) to write.
Bah.
I am afraid for what little sanity I have left.
