killing time...

Feeling a bit better. I think I'm allergic to either cabbage or beets. I think I was reacting to the borscht as much as anything. Also, I've figured out my needs a little better. 10 glasses of water a day plus just a little bit of grain every meal makes me much less hungry and my head less swooshy. Thank goodness for quinoa and corn!
I've decided I need to cut down my expectations of what I'll get done before I leave for Canada mid-December. In order of priority, I need to: a) do all the stuff necessary for the Holiday Fair (due date: November 30); b) Finish Exchange piece (due date: November 16th); c) make at least one outfit for The Plan (due date: December 12th).
That's reasonable, right? The Holiday Fair will require me making something like 50 cards and 20 slightly larger prints (longest part of this printing process will be making the print blocks), with two of the five new designs already sketched out.
The Exchange piece will need a lot of work, but since I figured out how to write it, it will probably be a LOT shorter than I was fearing, so it's possible I won't need an extension.
The outfit... well... That should only take a weekend. It's just the getting to it which is the hard part. And the adjusting of the pattern...
So, I guess I should get busy, eh? But first, I think I have a hungry boy to attend to. (And thank goodness he is eating again! Although it smells like he's got what Geoff had... ew.)
Ah, the joys of motherhood.
