The perils of sharing a computer
Dec. 17th, 2007 03:17 pmWell, I forgot to log off last night, meaning that this morning my mum read my locked blog. Good side is that we got that whole beautiful thing cleared up (with a heartfelt hug thrown in for good measure). No real bad side. She read an in-prog poem I wasn't ready to show anyone, but since she praised it, I can't say that I feel too bad about that either. ;-)
That's the really great thing about having an honest mum - I know she doesn't give false praise.
Geoff is still in Seattle, but should be calling soon with a progress report. Whether he gets his passport today or not depends on whether the system is up at the office. So it's possible that he'll get up here tonight. Hopefully.
My fantasy is that he hasn't called yet because he's fast making his way to the airport having received his passport half an hour ago. We'll see.
ETA: He is. He'll be arriving very late, but he'll get the ferry today. Yay!
I'm not nearly as upset at him today, but he still needs to get over this self-destructive pattern. Now.

But right now I need to go hang pictures with my mum.
Cheers.
