Recipe, please? (And other stuff)

I know one of you (at least) makes really good beef stew. Would you be willing to share recipes with me, please?


Today I went and finally got that allergy testing done. Big surprise, I'm very allergic to cats, horses, grasses and weeds, somewhat allergic to dogs, and hugely, majorly allergic to ragweed and house dust. Surprisingly, I am not allergic to dust mites. Go figure.

I will be starting the shots for the seasonal things (plus cats and dogs) in August.

The weekend was very good, very busy, and I fortunately have only one mosquito bite for all the time spent outside, which is something of a miracle, considering. I guess being cold-blooded pays off sometimes. ;-)

I now have to go catch up on all the things not done around the house this weekend (though thank Good Geoff that some laundry got done (desperation kills pet peeves pretty quickly)), namely the pit of a kitchen. I also need to go assemble the two Ikea stools I bought for the island. Whee!
