Ahoy there!
Jul. 30th, 2009 07:08 pmOn Tuesday (the 4th), I will be in Chicago for 6 hours. Granted, three of those hours aren't available seeing as it is a stop-over, but three hours is plenty for a quick dinner or coffee, right?
I come in on United flight 620 at 3:00 and leave at 8:59. I am more than willing to travel by el (I think Babe would be thrilled to ride it a bit), and I am reasonably comfortable with my knowledge of (Northside) Chicago as long as you tell me which line the stop's on. Unfortunately, I never did get a chance to go further South than Roosevelt when I was living there.
If none of you are available, any advice on where to go to amuse both Babe and myself for a couple of hours would be appreciated.
