I wrote today, which was nice. First time in a week, and with a lot more coming out than before. Almost 1000 words in an hour. It's all still plotting, but it's possible that if I keep this progress up, I will have it all plotted out by November and will be able to half-heartedly attempt NaNoWriMo. Only half-heartedly because I can't invest all of myself in anything these days.
Today Babe and I made more cookies, after the last batch finally got et up. Today's cookies are marbleized sugar cookies cut with Christmas cutters. They're very pretty, although the part of me that needs comfort says they're in dire need of frosting, since they aren't very sweet. But Babe likes them, they're wheat free, and they get him to drink his milk. It's win/win/win.
Tomorrow I go out to the pond and snap photos. I hope it's nice and sunny, even if it won't be warm. And afterwards, I'll share the cookies during lunch.
I need to have my blackstrap milk and go to bed now, though. I'm finding that a nice bedtime ritual, though, adding about a tablespoon (I don't measure, it could be only a teaspoon) of blackstrap molasses and a bit of agave nectar to a mug of warm milk. It's better than honey and vanilla, to my tastes. Probably because my body is aching for iron. I'm out of agave, though, now. I suppose I'll have to find a substitute... Honey? Stevia? (no.) Sugar???
Whatever. Early morning, so to bed I must go. Although I need to wake Geoff up so he can be off first. At least he has experience driving on little sleep. *urgh*
Anyway, night all!
