Yesterday was Geoff's birthday, so we spent the day as he wished, as far as Babe and schedule permitted, and that included going out candlepin bowling.

So, that was my weekend, more or less. I've also upped my Vitamin D and milk thistle dosages to fend off the February blues, and it seems to be working. Much more cheerful and less prone to anger. I even dealt with a nasty bathtime adventure involving lots of unpleasantness without yelling once. Though I did raise my voice a fair bit when the water started dripping through the ceiling ten minutes in. But otherwise, I was very constrained and did a very good job of being non-confrontational yet masterful. And I was told many times throughout that Babe loved me. And I even managed to tell him I loved him, disgusted as I was.
But. Now I need to go tackle the still huge pile of laundry and clean the bedroom and bathroom (oh god, must I?) and figure out what to do for dinner.
