And in "why is she bombarding us with this crap" news, I have determined, empirically, that the "good" toothpaste (Sensodyne's Pronamel) was the cause of my artificially stiff upper lip. I've gone back to using Tom's of Maine's Silly Strawberry (low flouride) toothpaste for a few days, and my lip has since peeled itself into comparable softness again. Thank god. I have little desire to take on that British trait, especially not a literal version of it!
