( A rather surprising daemon result. )
I've been feeling very tired lately and have been slacking off accordingly. Yesterday I decided it would be pointless to do my homework (which is almost all reading) because my concentration level was nil. So I napped. And napped. And napped. The alarm went off, but I returned to my nap. Geoff and Page got home, but I continued to nap. Page's best friend came over and they made a ruckus, and I still continued to nap, albeit with a bit more noise in my dreams.
I woke around seven because my body was finally rested enough to produce its own heat, and I was overheating from the multiple layers I had on (socks and slippers, sweatshirt and jacket, quilt and furnace...). And I still managed to get to sleep before eleven.
I think I was just a wee bit exhausted.
Unfortunately, because of the resting and slacking and tiredness over the week, I have a ton to do this weekend, and I'm not sure how I'm going to manage it all. Church will be sacrificed, I'm pretty sure. Thoroughness of the pre-reading might have to be, as well. And a lot of the reading will have to wait till Monday, which is after the test that I'm not really prepared for. On the plus side, at least I have a couple of hours of fun to look forward to on Sunday. That's non-negotiable family (or perhaps just me and Geoff) time.
So, I'd best get to it. Food must be bought (and cooked), and articles must be read and chosen. And maybe somewhere in there, I'll make myself a few more cups of tea (and muffins to go with it).
Happy weekend!
