Game plan for today
Apr. 27th, 2013 11:09 amBecause if I don't make a list, I will waste the day on the computer (and it would be wasting time, as I've pretty much run out of things I want to do on here).
But this isn't a "to do" list. More of a suggestions list. Because I am taking the day off, I think. More or less.

My bleeding heart (the plant, not the liberal epithet), while tiny, has some buds developing, so that's exciting. And my star magnolia really, truly IS alive. I was starting to wonder, as the buds weren't really getting any bigger for a while there. It was just delayed because it's going straight to leaf rather than blooming (not a surprise; getting transplanted is stressful). My lemon balm is growing leaves (nice, contrasty, chartreuse leaves) and... well, life abounds. It's a happy thing.
I'm getting anxious to start transplanting the backyard plants to their permanent or temporary safe homes, but I think I really ought to wait until they're at least showing. With the astilbes, I'll definitely wait till they've finished blooming. If I can. I still don't know when they're going to renovate our backyard. Maybe I should start asking people who might know...
And now that the food and tea have kicked in, making me feel a heck of a lot better, I will go start my day. I hope you all have a happy weekend!
ETA: Also, something to save up for.
