On the plus side, it looks like there will be no trip to the hospital today. We weren't so sure this morning, and, in fact, were kinda told to go by the nurse I called. Thing is, very shortly after that call, Page started accepting water (without reaction) and regained color (and saliva).
He is now sleeping the sleep of he exhausted, though I will have to wake him in a few minutes to give him more water. (Or not... I'm not sure he woke at all while I fed him the water.)
It's helped that he's actually listened to us today. Goodness gracious, but that child is stubborn. And convinced he knows better. He should be an MD for how bad a patient he is.
On the down side, I am completely exhausted, what with lots of stress and little sleep. Also, my stomach isn't feeling so great. However, I have been drinking lots and lots of fluids, and will continue to do so. Hopefully I will not succumb to the virus' worst effects.
Page also still has a fever, albeit a low grade one, which is concerning combined with the dehydration.
Ah well. Life does continue, so it's all good, right?
Right. Back to the loveseat for another nap.
