Taken from Keladry and sbrande:
Back is thoroughly messed up, but I'm actually pretty cheerful, which is nice. Unfortunately, it's decided to be hot again today, although we got torrential rain yesterday, which was neat. Nice thing is that this weekend Geoff got both a/c units in the bedrooms, although because of the rain, we didn't need them, which was to be expected.
I hope to get some stuff done today and this week. Geoff finally cut up the laundry-line box, so I can finally put it together and start digging out the patio. If I work on it an hour a day everyday this month, I might actually get it finished before the cabinets come in. That would be nice. We'll see.
Last night we finally saw Ratatouille, which was fantastic. It was also inspiring, as I actually got stuff out of the fridge and then *gasp* cooked it up. And I must say, the frittata that resulted was really quite tasty. One summer squash, one zucchini (or Italian squash as they prefer to call them now *shakes head*), one medium onion, all sliced, five medium white mushrooms, chopped finely, half a cup of minced cilantro, a dash of garlic, cayenne and freshly ground black pepper all sauteed in canola oil. Four eggs, about 1/2 cup milk beat up together, poured over the vegetable mix, stuffed in oven and baked for half an hour later, and mmmmmmmmmmmm!
And then we had fresh strawberries over frozen cool whip for dessert. It was a yummy evening.
You Are A Poplar Tree |
![]() People tend to look up to you, and it's a bit lonely at the top. Inside, you are not always self confident, but you show great courage. Mature and organized, you are reliable in any situation. You tend to have an artistic or philosophical outlook on life. You are very choosy in love and take partnership seriously. |
