Dec. 10th, 2008 02:09 pmI don't like shopping with Babe. Especially when he goes into melt-down mode (although at least he waited until after I'd paid). But, I got him a reasonably priced pair of winter boots, slippers and one of Geoff's Christmas presents. As well as some tights for me.
And I realized as I shopped that I really could have added a couple other things to my Christmas list, not that I need anything more than I already have. Except maybe a house-elf. I really would like one of those. Not that I have enough work to keep a house-elf busy...
Now I just need to get Geoff to go return the not-reasonable priced boots I bought the other day and get himself some shoes that aren't falling apart.
But I'm tired. It's a rainy day, which has mixed blessings. On the good side, it's warmer, which is very nice indeed. On the bad side, it's gray and blah and just a day I'd rather spend in bed reading a book. Babe isn't going to let that happen, though. My schedule isn't, either. Also, I do kind of wish it would snow. It doesn't feel like December, despite the cold temps earlier in the week (that's more February weather to me, anyway).
ETA: Did you know that Santa says, "Yo ho ho"? He does according to Babe. :-D
