A) I work best under the reward system. When in school, my rewards were good grades. When I worked, my reward was money. But now I have a job that doesn't pay anything tangible and I've been slacking because I don't feel like it's worth anything. Which is nonsense, of course, but there you have it.
B) My last Christmas wish list I wrote up was fulfilled in a rather spectacular fashion. I never imagined that over the year I would receive so much of what I asked. But, you know, the Universe does listen.
So...
I thought it might be good to remind myself of what I want or would like this year.
1. Get to Azkatraz. Haven't decided whether I want to go by myself or drag the family with me to the area, but I really want to get there this year.
2. Geoff's spark back where it should be. Over Christmas it started coming back as he helped our neighbor. So... It's obvious he needs a job where he can help fix people. Not machines.
3. Continue with the connections. I really want to be a better friend, wife and, I s'pose, mother.
4. Better health. It's improved over the last year, for the most part, but it could still be better.
5. Social intelligence. Or, at the very least, acceptance of my social limitations.
6. Make money, or at least come up with some sort of plan to make money that doesn't involve working outside the home.
7. ...
I'll think on the rest and add as I think of them.
