Weird evangelical dream

I dreamt that the collective we needed to save Jesus. The Christ.
The explanation given in the dream was that when Jesus died all those years ago, he did save us. All of humanity was saved for ever and ever amen. However, it only saved us from the burden of sin, not from ourselves.
It was discovered somehow that Jesus had made a deal. His life and his soul in return for ours. It wasn't clear whether his soul was being held in Hell or what, but it came to light that there was a loophole in the deal, and that we could save him. We needed to live by his laws. We needed to be good to one another. We needed to preach love. We needed to sacrifice our sinful ways and live as he did. We needed to do this NOW, or he would be forever lost.
And so, people began living by his words. Huge masses of people. And the message spread. People had to prove their love for Jesus was greater than their love of money, lust for power, or any other of the sins. They had to live their love and not preach, and they spread His light and hope thereby.
