averygoodun42I painted my toenails. I haven't done that for... years. I think I've done it since Babe was born, but I can't say for certain.
Babe wanted his nails painted, too, so I did one hand, and he did the other, then proceeded to paint his toenails as well. It's a shocking pink. Messy, shocking pink. But who am I to say, "No, you can't paint your nails (pink) because you're a boy"?
The down side to this adventure (so far), is that there's now two splotches of pink on his khaki shorts. Oh well.
I also, while I was at it, filed my finger nails. I know I haven't done that for years. Usually I just chop them off until they're neat looking and feeling and leave them to grow out. And today I remembered why. It takes an awfully long time to file nails properly! And I want to have them properly done so that they don't have any tears, since, for once, I actually want my nails to be long, because that's a more useful length right now. (If it weren't useful, I would have just chopped them as per normal. I am so not a girly girl.)
Anyway, that's my dose of frivolity to add to the world.
Oh, but did I ever mention the guy who complimented me on my bumper sticker? We have a lot of bumper stickers to cover up scratches and whatnot, most of a liberal refrain. The one this random stranger liked was "God Bless the Whole World - No Exceptions". As it turned out, he was a foreigner. :-)
I think that's my favorite one, too, although I like all of them, really. (Except the Frankfurters one, which is only on there because Geoff insisted.)
