Better now.

I don't know if it was just hormones or if it was a combination of hormones and constant nightmares (nor should I ignore the bone deep tiredness and body aches, though those could be attributes to hormones and a solid week of nightmares), but I am feeling much, much better today. Almost human. Heck, almost companionable!
And now that the Christmas tree is down and the bills are paid (ulp) (with exception to the gas bill, which wasn't a bill at all, but telling us we don't owe anything! Balanced billing for our win!) and the living room is almost put to rights, though still strewn with toys, I feel like I am on the road to... good cheer, if not health.
I'll probably feel even more cheerful when I get out for a walk whenever Geoff gets home (don't like evening walks, but oh well. Maybe Former Choir Director will be up for walking with me...) and if I make progress on making yesterday's art look decent. (I had to stop in one of the ugly phases.)
Which I should go do right now while Babe is watching 101 Dalmations again. 'Cause after that, I'll read him another chapter or three of Swan and then it'll be time to start thinking about dinner...
Dang, sometimes bleeding is just what the body needs. Even if it does lead to anemia. ;-)
I'll start answering comments both here and at
severusbigbang (Oh, did I mention I have a pic up at
severusbigbang? If interested, it's gen Snape and it's here) this evening in my down time. If I'm still awake, that is.
Right. Enough digressions. On to arting.
