I do have siblings, actually.

Describe them? Oh.

My brother is nine and a half years older than me. Although he's incredibly dear to my heart, I only have vague impressions and memories of him, as he left home about two weeks after he turned eighteen, when he joined the Navy.

I don't really know him, so how can I describe him? He's tall, about 6'3". He's extremely good looking, has a charismatic smile that goes with his kind and thoughtful manner and is a favorite of anyone he meets. He's also a bit of a snob where culture is concerned and being rich in California has made him forget the logistics (and casualties) of extreme progressive thinking (example: he thought higher prices at the pump was good because it would force the government(s) to look into public transportation, forgetting that a lot of people in the East (and upper Midwest?) heat their homes with oil, meaning that higher prices means misery and danger for those caught between the financial support cracks, not to mention that this whole country is set up so that public transportation is decades away from being effective, and those who will be hurt the most are the poor and the disappearing middle class).

But, despite his blind-spots, he has a sharp mind that remains open and flexible. Which is why, combined with his manner, he's such a wonderful person.

Hum. Where with my brother I have limited memories to work from, I have too many of my sister to organize. So, I'll start with the facts. She's six and a half years older than me, she is the beauty of the family and was the deserving apple of my Grandpa's eye. She's "the writer" of the family, and we all think she should have gone into science, even though she somehow convinced herself that she was the dumb one. She's not. At all. Never has been.

My sister is that girl who wanted to be popular, managed to make it into the in-crowd, then decided that it wasn't worth the bother necessary to stay popular. There were more important things to be doing, like singing, writing and listening to ELO.

She always wanted to be a mother and was cursed with having a little sister who hated her. Literally. I mean, as a baby I would scream when she came near me. As I got older, I stopped screaming, but I was such a brat to her. And yet, she still loved me and cared for me and tried her best to include me. She's that kind of person. Needless to say, I admire and love her quite a lot now.

She is now the mother of two incredible children. K, the elder, is a lovely, strange and powerful girl who will probably grow up to change the world. L, the munchkin, is very possibly a genius. If not a literal genius, she is extremely gifted in many areas. Again, it's needless to say that my poor sister has her work cut out for her, but she loves them, and she's set her world to revolve around them.
