Parenthood is not for the humorless. Or the saintly. And it seems those two things go together an awful lot, don't they? I don't hear an awful lot about comedic, or even just laughing, saints. At least not in Christian liturgy
Remember The Name of the Rose? Pretty accurate, especially where the church's attitude to laughter is concerned. And I'm afraid that things haven't changed too much over the past 800 years...
