That was unexpected

Good thing: I got a solid A (95%) on the test I thought I'd bombed. Turns out that I did the majority of the problem I didn't understand correctly. And it sounds like everyone got the part I missed (b) wrong. So here's for sticking it out and using logic!
Bad thing: It really should have been a 93%. This prof grades really, really easy, and has stated that he gives the benefit of the doubt; if he finds the right answer anywhere on the page, he'll give you the points for it. So, a different part (a) of that problematic problem was given to me even though I'd written the wrong answer next to the "a". Ah well. I certainly don't feel guilty enough about it to ask for the points off!
Good thing: Geoff finally got the tires rotated! That means we have traction again! Yay!
Bad thing: The car now has an odd sound to it that wasn't there before. Poor thing. Poor, old thing.
Good thing: Midterms are over.
Bad thing: November is going to be hella busy. Not only am I going to do a variation of NaNo (fabric painting-ho!), but I have two research papers to, well, research and write as well as cars to research and test-drive. And then, when I actually get a break for Thanksgiving weekend, I'm going to have to cook.
All of which means I need to get offline and start my homework. And, if there's quiet enough after I finish the homework, maybe I can start some of the research. If my eyes still work.
*sigh*
At least the afternoon tea was nice. :-)
