Bad: There is no ready-made hot food in the house. Meaning I'm going to have to cook, dammit.
Good: There is, however, quick, nutritious and tasty cold food to lunch on until dinner is ready. (Summer sausage, braunschweiger and cucumbers. Yum!)
Bad: I'm grumpy. And inconsiderate. And irresponsible.
Good: I'm not imposing my bad mood on anyone right now. (Notice the cut. You chose to read this!)
Bad: I chickened out of volunteering at the phone-bank yesterday.
Good: I'm planning on going back tomorrow morning and knocking on doors, instead. There are just too many qualms about the phone-bank thing, especially being a recipient of SO MANY CALLS.
Extra Good: Only four days left. FOUR DAYS, ya'll!
Bad: I haven't started on my NaNo project yet. Not even digging out my fabric supplies.
Good: I have finally started on one of my term papers. The research bit of it, anyway...
Bad: Still fighting something. Cold sores are encroaching.
Good: The vitamin B complex seems to be starting to kick in again after going without it for a couple months+ due to tummy distress. And so far, it does not seem to be causing any problems. Also good is that niacin really is a good pain reliever. Not quite as good as tylenol, but an hour after taking 500mg last night, my hip was only barely bothering me.
Bad: My will power is crumbling. I want milk duds! I want chicken korma! I WANT HOT CHOCOLATE!!!
Good: Almond-flour waffles are relatively quick and easy to make. And yummy. And versatile. And, if my will power crumbles too much, I can always make a mug of hot chocolate with my last remaining square of unsweetened chocolate melted in coconut milk, with lots of honey for sweetness. (Sounds good, doesn't it?) But I'm trying to save that until I'm truly desperate.
Right. Two and a half hours left till I pick up the guys. I will kick that irresponsibility to the curb andrepot the swedish ivies do laundry start dinner STUDY. Namely, research.
Oh, IFBS/FASB convergence project, why do you have to be so... uninspiring?
*sigh*
*waves mournfully**(with an amused smirk)*
See you on the other side (of the weekend, that is).
