Evil eye is evil
Nov. 29th, 2012 04:34 pmI have made an appointment with the eyebologist(md) for tomorrow afternoon. I imagine it's nothing, but this has been going on for almost two weeks now, and it's not getting better in any consistent way. Even with me taking antihistamines and aleve on a frighteningly regular basis.
I also made it because I had a rather nasty dream involving my eye needing a new sclera. A "good person" (<-- dream punnage of RL friend's name who happened to be an ophthalmologist in the dream) helped me out by sticking a needle and suture thread into my eye to relieve the pain and swelling. It worked quite well, except for temporarily blinding that eye and making me an object of curiosity for a cat and its claws. That was the scariest part, actually, trying to keep my eyes and that damned dangling suture thread out of the cat's reach, since I knew my sight depended on it.
*shudders*
Fortunately, I don't expect anything remotely like that will actually occur at my doctor's visit or even from my visit. I just hope I don't need those horrid drops. I should probably get Geoff to go with me in case I do need them.
*sigh*
ION, I got one of my papers back with an "A" attached. I guess I was too subtle when "discussing one article I found interesting in my research," but, well, that's okay. I got an A, so I suspect that unless I bomb today's test and the final, I should get an A in the course.
And, thank goodness, only five school days remaining. Six if I count my finals' day, but I don't really count test days. They're too short to count.
I also bought myself another Christmas present "from" Geoff. I'm so bad. I would feel a lot less guilty if I could think of gifts for him...

Date: 2012-11-30 07:57 pm (UTC)Honestly, I suspect he'll tell me it's dry-eye and to take three drops and call him in the morning. Or something similar. But, it will be a relief to know nothing is actually wrong (knock on wood).
*twirls you around* The end is so close, I'm giddy! Though, that might be the sculpey fumes... *shrug* Either way, wheeeeeeeeeee!
