Stupid body memory. That's probably what's going on.

9 years ago (almost to the day) I was put on bed rest for pre-ecclampsia.
4 years ago (a week from now), my marriage almost ended.
3 years ago (last Saturday) I was in the ER with meningitis.

And I think my shingles outbreak was about 8 years ago... (Yep. Diagnosed as of the 11th.)

And of course there are various other anniversaries (like Adopted!Uncle's death... 15 years ago?... as of the 8th) that make the fall a difficult time.

So, yeah. I'll try to cosset myself a bit more and berate a bit less.

*hugs* I completely understand this. I've been out of sorts and grumpy and mildly depressed and not sleeping and aaaargh for a couple weeks and I finally clued in this weekend that hello! this time of year is when the anniversaries of a Ton of Bad Shit Happening occur.
