Happy Valentine's day and all that

So, thank you to those of you who actually sent me a valentinr! I appreciated it very much! And to those of you who had valentinrs out there, but I didn't notice, I am so sorry! I wasn't snubbing you on purpose. I must have missed it. :-(
But, happy VD anyway. ;-j I hope yours was better than mine.
In car news, the other person's insurance company accepted liability and we don't have to pay the deductable! This is... well, a HUGE relief. It's also a big relief that we didn't have to fight about it. We'll be probably be getting the car back from the shop just in time for Geoff's birthday. Yay.
(And thank goodness for insurance! $2400 for just a wee corner taken out! Yikes!)
And, it's a little delayed, but here's week 6's painting that I finished at the end of week 6. That was only half a week ago.

'Tis oil on canvas; 16" x 20"
So, I have a lot of paint from that palette left over. I have two paintings planned with those colors (cerulean blue, yellow ochre, white, payne's gray and manganese violet) as the basics. I think I'm going to have to add a color to the palette... like crimson, or carmine. Something that I can mix with the yellow to make orange.
I haven't figured out how big the still life (still need to set up and sketch out) will be, but probably it will get the 18 x 24 canvas I have lying around. I haven't decided whether the iguana is going to make it into the still life, yet. :-) The "seahorse," which is kinda art deco and cheesy, will probably get put on one of the 8 x 10's, though I may take the time to actually stretch canvas over one of the 11 x 14 frames I made the other month.
