movies, memes and sketching, oh my!

Just watched Amelie. What a wonderful, magical movie. It's the kind of film that makes me want to deconstruct and examine it closely in hopes of becoming a better writer. *happy sigh*

I did a Draco/Ginny sketch today. I wanted it to be Snape/Hermione, but the damn guy insisted on being good looking. And young. It's not ready to post as Ginny's bod is a bit messed up at this point. I'll need Geoff to model to make it right. Urm... Yeah. Not quite how it sounds.

I also did a sketch of Babe today. Not really, though. He was crawling along the sidewalk playing with one of his cars, and the light was just right and he was the epitome of "child" that I figured I had to at least attempt a sketch. That and my erotic sketch wasn't coming along. They never do when I attempt kissing. Bah. I'll get it eventually.

Amelie is one of my favorite movies. I love it, and I also watch it when I want inspiration for a hero(ine) who has a cause, but is fumbling a bit. A bit of vigilantism, but in a good way.
