Unfortunately, this isn't about the garden. They've been better about that. This is just... natural exuberance and it's consequences.
They are just kids, after all.
(Also, our climate is such that the only real prickly things I can think of that would grow here would be roses, and I'm not much of a rose person. And roses aren't much for the shade.):-(
Duct tape. It's cheap, easily available, and damn hard to get out of. LOL And if their parents say anything...well it isn't as though you hurt them.
I made my neighbors pay to replace my flowers, and their kid had to help me replant everything...actually I sat on my but and supervised. :D The little snot hasn't been ANYwhere near my flowers since.
It wasn't anything to do with the garden, unfortunately. Or is that fortunately? That they've been better about the garden shows hope of some level of cognizance, but... well, explanatory post just went up.
Snots! That's a much better term than I used! Must remember that! :-)
The kids in our neighborhood realized a while ago that I am not afraid of their parents (we have a Malfoy, only its 'my mom, instead of my father), and when I stick my head out the door and yell "TAPE" its time to go somewhere else.
Feel free to use the term snots as needed, I've spent entire days wandering 'round the house talking to myself about 'those damn little snots', LOL! :D
