I've been reading about a lot of you setting up accounts on different journals. Um... well, I'm not going. I'm not sure I even really understand why you all are leaving in such a huff, except for the silly argument about being 'free' and whatnot. I really don't understand why those of you on my flist are afraid of being kicked off. *shrugs*

My question is, do you really think the grass is as green as it looks from here? Do you really think the same basic ethical rules won't show up over there at some point?

I couldn't be bothered last time, and can't be bothered now either. And I agree with you - there' s no guarantee at all that other sites won't do the same. Besides, I feel secure in the knowledge that what I write won't offend the LJ people. I'd hate for my journal to be deleted, because there's so much RL stuff there, but I'm sure I'd survive it, if it really happaned. *shrugs*

Yes, I'm also secure in the knowledge that unless they suddenly crack down on all fanfiction (which would be a stupid thing to do), my account is pretty safe.

Same here. My interests are decidedly tame (as are my stories, LOL.) I just barely am getting the hang of LJ, and I have no intention of going anywhere else.
