Okay, first, everyone who hasn't read it, go read
mistful's "Coda to an Epilogue: Twenty Years Later, or The Kids Are All Right". Yes, it takes the epilogue into account, no it isn't Snapecentric, but it is brilliant and funny and generally shiny.
It is finished in three separate posts.
That done, I'm relieved to say that Geoff made it to Buffalo in a relatively timely manner, despite missing his flight this morning. We were both like, "Oops," him for having lost track of time and not done enough prep work the night before (like packing) and me for misreading the clock as an hour earlier than it was. Still, he got in only an hour and a half later than planned, even though he had to go by standby both legs. Yay!
Now, hopefully, he'll get back in a relatively timely manner as well. Like before Monday.
Still lagging on chapter 20. It's getting there, only two more parts to write (having ironed out the already written parts) before I print it all out, read it and discover just how crappy it is. :-) The thing is, I actually like all the parts I've written (and we know from LM Montgomery that we should always throw out the parts we like the best. Point in case: the epilogue), but not how they flow with one another. As I said before, the pacing sucks. Ah well.
Anyway, that's that from me.
