Right. Would anyone be willing to help me whip "Snape's Journal" into good enough shape to post to an archive? I am almost finished writing it (only 9-10 entries left to write, probably) but I really need an objective eye, 'cause, although I know it's funny, I also know it's very flawed. Not that I expect to achieve perfection, or anything. But better is always nice.

Today I caught Nott cornering Granger in the entrance hall, and Granger seemed oblivious. Before I could think on what I was doing, I made my presence known and gave Nott that, "You are not to misbehave within my sightline, or there will be severe consequences, including, but not limited to, your housemates practicing their transfiguration skills on you," look. He sensibly turned away from Granger and returned to the dungeons. I'll have to keep a closer eye on him from now on.

As for SJ, though punctuation is always a hassle for me, I am mostly looking for someone who can tell me if something works or not. Ie: is it funny? Does it suck? etc. Basic stuff. :)

What are you looking for, in terms of help with SJ? I can do copy editing (I was a copy editor before becoming a mom/freelance writer), although I must say everything I've seen of yours looks very clean already. I don't really know a lot about writing fiction so any advice I'd have in that area would be based purely on instinct.
