And this makes me happy. Babe is asleep, and this also makes me happy, as it means I can possibly get some writing done.

I'm trying to remind myself that two months is plenty of time. I do not need to panic. Yet. Really, I don't.

Good to hear that the phone line got fixed.

As little as I use the phone, I'd hate to be without it, just in case there's an emergency or a real need. It was part of the reason why I finally gave in some years ago and got a mobile phone (probably the last person to do so that I knew of) - I very rarely actually use it, but I feel a lot more secure having one.

The thing I really hate about not having a phone is that I realize how much I take it for granted. Like calling Geoff to see when he'll be coming home for dinner. Or being able to chat with my mum (which is a biggie). Or having it there in case something does go wrong... especially with a child!d

I don't have a mobile. I refuse. For the time being, anyway. I have a feeling that someday I will feel it necessary, but I'm hoping that doesn't happen until Babe's in junior high, so about ten years from now. :D
